Overview

Licensing is composed of Business Entity, Projects and License Key configurations. 

Screen Explanation

 

Business Entity

Field/Column/Icon

Description

Add (  +  ) button

To add a new Business Entity, select the + button and enter the necessary values in the corresponding columns. 

Edit ( pen icon)

Click the pen icon to edit a record. 

Save button 

Click the Save button to save any changes or a new record. 

Cancel ( x ) button 

For any change that you want to cancel, select the x button.

ID

Business Entity ID is system generated.

Code

Bus. Ent. Code is a mandatory field and must be unique.  Code can be entered up to 15 characters.

Name

Bes. Ent. Name is also mandatory. 

Projects

To add a new Project, select the + button and enter the necessary values in the corresponding columns.

Click the pen icon to edit a record. 

Save button 

Click the Save button to save any changes or a new record. 

Cancel ( x ) button 

For any change that you want to cancel, select the x button.

ID

Project ID is system generated.

Business Entity

Bus. Ent. is a required field and must be unique.  Code can be entered up to 15 characters.

Project No.

Project Code is also mandatory and must be unique.  Project No can be entered up to 15 characters.

Name 

Project name is another required field.

Status

Project Statuses are Active, Closed, etc can be selected from the dropdown list. This is also a required value for the record.

Draft Projects do not appear in Project selection of Company Add/Search and User Add/Search screens; only Active Projects are displayed.

Time Zone

Dropdown selection of Time Zone for every Project.  This is also mandatory for Project configuration.

License Key

Enterprise license key is a pattern of numbers and/or letters provided to licensed users of the system.   Without a valid license key, the Ent system will not operate.  Within the generated key there are embedded expiry date and user count. When the system nears the specified number of days to the embedded expiry date an email notification will be sent out to specific recipients. Moreover, new Users will not be allowed to be entered when the number of Users embedded within the key exceeds the number of Active Users.
