Threaded Conversation

Contents

Overview

A Thread refers to a number of related Conversations where the discussion/messages/conversations are grouped with their associated replies.  Whenever you Reply/Reply All to a Conversation, you are extending a specific Thread. Because there may be many Threads, by default only the latest Thread first displays.  As explained below, you can then view all Threads & also expand Connected Conversations. The most recent Thread in any Connected Conversations always sorted in descending chronological order operates like normal emails.

Screen Explanation

Show 'All Thread' check-box is located at the upper right side of the conversations form.  By default, it is ticked so you can view the other threads.

A new thread will be generated once the User clicks the + Conversation button and create a new Conversation.

Note: When the User selects the 'Reply' or 'Reply All' on a specific thread, that reply will be added under its 'Connected Conversations' and will form part of the current thread.
